Hub City Soccer offers a recreational league for players of all abilities from ages 5 to 18. Did you know that soccer is the most popular sport in the world and is an ideal sport for fitness, health, strength and endurance? Soccer can also teach coordination, promote teamwork and sharing, and it’s a great way to meet people and exercise with friends. Soccer is a pretty easy game to learn and each team is coached by a volunteer who will help guide your child in learning the rules and the skills of the game. It’s a great sport for all ages and ability levels. If your child hasn’t played soccer yet, give them the opportunity to do so in our upcoming season.
To get a more specific idea of what is involved within your child’s age group please review the following document.
There are two seasons for the recreational league, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. Spring typically runs in April and May and the Fall typically runs from the end of August through September. Games are played weekly and a schedule will be available for your team at the start of the season.
All players registered in our U9 and older age groups will have their recreational league culminate in a City Tournament. The city tournament takes place following the last scheduled regular season games. Schedules for City tournament generally come out toward the last week of the regular season.
City Tournament schedules can be found on the website under tournaments.
Registration for our current Spring 2017 season is CLOSED. For information about what level your child is eligible to play with please review the Age Chart. Our opening age group for our club is the U5 age group, which means your child must be born in the year 2012 to be eligible. We do not offer the U4 age group at this time.
Your registration fee will cover team placement, field equipment, game related costs and uniforms.
