Hub City Soccer Club’s annual general meeting will be held on November 13th at 6:30pm at Matchbox Recreational Center.
The club will be accepting nomination via email to [email protected] until 11:59pm Friday November 3rdth, 2023, for the following available positions on the Board of Directors which will be voted on during the AGM. All positions are a 2-year term. Below are the positions and job descriptions. The AGM is open to the public. If you have any questions, please submit to the above email.
- PRESIDENT. The President shall be the chief executive officer and general manager of the Association. The President shall preside at all the meetings of the Association and shall be the general representative of the Association in all matters.
- 1ST VICE-PRESIDENT. The 1st Vice President will assist the President as directed by the President. The 1st Vice President shall also:
- Assist with the development of, and submit to the BOD suggested seasonal plans for all Nontraditional or Competitive seasons (Summer/Fall/Winter), including fees & calendars.
- Oversee, monitor, and report on these non-traditional soccer programs including Summer, Fall, and Winter competitive, and TOP Soccer Programs.
- As needed, help recruit and submit nominees for competitive tournament directors (summer and winter).
- Oversee, monitor, and report in regard to competitive tournaments (summer and winter).
- SECRETARY. The Secretary is the chief custodian of the Association’s records, documents and files. The Secretary will be responsible to:
- Help compile and maintain a database of all ASA/HCSC policies, directives, and other important documents.
- Compile and maintain the minutes of all Board meetings and meetings of the AGM and distribute these minutes to all board members in a timely manner (at least 48 hours prior to the next scheduled board meeting).
- Will give assistance to other Board Members as needed and directed by the President.
- COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR. The Communications director will be responsible to:
- Arrange all media coverage for the Association.
- Oversee, monitor, and report in regard to all HCSC website related items, including maintenance, updating and accuracy.
- Oversee and maintain all HCSC Social Media Accounts.
- Advertise and promote association activities, registration, tournament information, team photos, and any other public relations opportunities involving the Association.
